Whether you’re checking out churches, are looking for a new church home or are just curious about this Christianity thing, you are welcome at Mill Creek Community Church! Below are answers to questions you may find helpful, or you can email or call us.
Q & A
What time is your worship service? Sunday at 10 a.m.
What type of worship service can I expect? Our worship service is more contemporary than traditional. Singing is led by a worship team, and you’ll hear dynamic and relevant messages from our pastors.
Following the service, a prayer room is available for you to pray with someone, or by yourself.
We offer coffee, tea, water and juice before the service, and invite you to stay for cookies and other baked goods (and sometimes a lunch) following the service so we can get to know you.
What denomination is Mill Creek Community Church? We are a Christian Reformed Church, which emerged from the Protestant Reformation in 16th century Europe. We believe in the Triune God — Father, Son and Holy Spirit — and that the Old and New Testaments are the inspired Word of God.
You can learn more about our denomination and beliefs at www.crcna.org.
What should I wear? It’s really up to you! You’ll see people in casual attire (jeans are just fine!) and others who like to dress up a bit more. Please feel free to dress however you are most comfortable.
What is offered for children on Sunday mornings? Care for children age 3 and under is available during the entire worship service; you can drop them off with one of our trained caregivers before or at any time during the worship service. Children ages 4 through fifth grade stay with their parents for the first part of the worship service, then head to their Sunday school classes.
Through our ministry to children, we teach biblical truths and principles, how Jesus Christ loves them and calls them, and what it means to serve him. Everyone who works with children of any age at our church is screened through a process that includes a formal application, interview, and a thorough background and reference check.
