Worship Ministry Director
Jeremy has literally spent most of his life involved in worship ministry, having started when he was a teenager. He is passionate about connecting worship especially to mission of the church, believing that the worship we offer should tangibly shape our lives as followers of Christ. Jeremy and his wife Jana have two kids, Norah and Rowan, and when he isn’t neck-deep in music he is probably busy enjoying life with them. He is an avid (some might say obsessive) consumer of culture, especially movies, and would like nothing better than to discuss the intersection of faith and art with you or to simply geek out over your favorite piece of pop culture (chances are, he likes it too).
Children’s Ministry Director
Lisa is a native Pacific Northwestern and appreciates a good cup of coffee during those rain filled months. Lisa has two small children of her own, Birdie and Woods. She is a gifted organizer, a fun communicator, very caring and creatively resourceful person. Her gifts have made her a wonderful addition to our children’s ministry. Lisa knows values community that accepts you as you are, where you are, when you are. Her passion in Children’s Ministry and the MOPS group is to make sure that everyone knows they have a place at Mill Creek Community Church.
René holds a bachelor of science from George Fox University and enjoys learning everything she can about God’s creation. She is amazed by the intricate details with which God formed the human body and can often be found curled up with a medical dictionary investigating a physiology or anatomy question. Beyond MCCC, René spends the majority of her time raising her five children. Together, they enjoy outdoor activities, spontaneous dance parties, drinking tea, kayaking, birding, eating yummy food and reading fun adventure books. René offers a warm welcome to all who pass through the office.
